Connect PFX Executor.Part 1 of 3: link your terminal, safely.

PFX Executor turns TradingView alerts into MetaTrader 5 orders. This first part connects one terminal: you get a webhook address, add the terminal, and attach the EA. Nothing trades in this part. Parts 2 and 3 cover the test and the stop switches.

Your key and address are private.

Never paste a webhook address or a terminal key into a chat, a screenshot or a shared note. The key is shown once. If a step doesn't look like the picture, that's normal: open the "Not seeing it?" box under it.

Before you start

Three checks. Tick them as you go.

How it reaches you. TradingView alert → precisionfx.io → the EA on your terminal picks it up and places the trade. Nothing runs on your PC except MetaTrader.
1

Get your webhook address

Each TradingView strategy or chart gets its own address.

  1. Sign in at precisionfx.io, open Automation, and create a strategy.
  2. Copy the webhook address it shows. It is permanent, and it does not change when anything restarts.
  3. Keep one address per strategy or chart. If one leaks, you can revoke only that one.
Treat the address like a password. Do not paste it in a chat, a screenshot or a shared note.
Not seeing it?

I can't find Automation. Sign in first, then open the Automation page from the site menu.

2

Add this terminal and copy its key

One key per chart, shown once.

  1. On the same page, choose Add an account, and copy the key it shows you.
  2. The key is shown once. It is stored hashed, so it cannot be shown again.
  3. Use one key per chart, even when several charts are in the same terminal. Name each key after its chart.
If you lose the key, revoke that terminal and add another. It costs one paste.
Not seeing it?

I closed the page before copying the key. Revoke that terminal on the Automation page, then add it again to get a new key.

3

Install and attach the EA

Copy the file, then set the inputs.

  1. Copy PFX_Executor.ex5 into the terminal's MQL5\Experts folder, then right-click Navigator and choose Refresh.
  2. Drag the EA onto a chart of the symbol you trade. Each chart acts only on alerts for its own symbol.
  3. Turn on Algo Trading with the toolbar button.

Cloud: terminal keythe key from the step before (paste it here only)
Instance namea name for this account, such as Demo-1
Route keythe same word as the alert's instance field
Magic numberany number unique on this account
Maximum lot sizea size you would genuinely accept. It is your last line of defence
The cloud key goes in the input once, and nowhere else. Do not write it on the chart or in a note.
Not seeing it?

The EA says the key is rejected. Check you pasted the whole key. If it still fails, revoke that terminal and add a new one.

4

Allow the EA to reach the internet

The step most people miss. MetaTrader blocks outside requests until you list the address.

  1. Open Tools → Options → Expert Advisors and tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL.
  2. Add https://precisionfx.io to the list, then press OK.
  3. Re-attach the EA. MetaTrader keeps the old copy in memory until you do.
If you skip this, the EA tells you at startup, in one line, with this same menu path. It will not fail silently.
Not seeing it?

The startup line says WebRequest is not allowed. Add the address to the list exactly as shown, press OK, then re-attach the EA.

5

Check it starts cleanly

The Experts tab shows what the EA is doing.

  1. Open Toolbox → Experts and read the startup lines.
  2. Check there is no WebRequest warning and no key rejected message.
  3. Leave the EA attached. Part 2 sends the first test alert.
Not seeing it?

The Experts tab says nothing. Check the EA is attached, Algo Trading is green, and the chart has finished loading.

Your safety nets

Three ways to stay in control.

1

Demo first

Connect a demo terminal before any live account. Part 2 shows the test.

2

Maximum lot size

Set it deliberately. It stands between a malformed alert and an account-sized position.

3

Keep the key private

Paste it only into the input. Revoke and re-add if it is ever exposed.

All done

You're set up.Nicely done.

Risk warning: Trading carries a high risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. The Executor places real orders from alerts you send. A test on a demo is not a guide to live results.
